BANGOR, Mich.-- It's been five days since friends and family have seen or heard from a young mother of two. Now, two communities are desperate to find Rose Marie Morris; Bangor, the place she grew up, and Dowagiac, where she lives now.

"All I know is from family that she took off walking Thursday evening," explained good friend, Amber Ridley.

Ridley said Morris moved to Dowagiac about a year ago to start over. She considers Morris a good friend and a devoted mother.

"Her kids are her everything."

Dowagiac police have tried to retrace Morris's steps since family reported her missing Sunday.

"At this point, we are trying to track any information for her," said Steven Grinnewald, Director of Dowagiac Department of Public Safety.

"We have no credit card information that she may have used. She doesn’t have a cell phone so it makes it a little bit difficult."

Family and friends started a Facebookpage to find Morris and hopes she does happen to see it.

Police don't believe she is in danger, but continue their efforts to find her.

If you know anything, call Dowagiac police at 269-782-9743.
