ZEELAND, Mich – Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened in the city of Zeeland early Friday evening.
Authorities were dispatched to the area of Pine Street and Central Avenue just after 6:00 p.m., where they say a 17-year-old male was stabbed in the chest. That teenager is currently in the hospital, listed in critical condition.
Investigators at the scene tell FOX17 they’ve received little information from possible witnesses.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police say the suspect involved is believed to be a 17 or 18-year-old male that was last seen wearing blue gym shorts and red tennis shoes.
