GR Police: Teen shot in car near Hall and Kalamazoo; Suspect sought

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — An 18-year-old man was shot in the face Monday on Kalamazoo Avenue just north of Hall Street, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The teen was shot at around 9:45 p.m. while he was in a car, and police said his injuries are are non-life threatening.

The car the victim was in spun out in the Hall and Kalamazoo intersection.   He is currently being treated for his injuries at the hospital.

No one has been taken into custody for this shooting.  Anyone with information is asked to call Grand Rapids Police at 616-456-3403.
