The proceeds from The Barn actually go to a mission in Honduras that works to fight sex trafficking and to help young teenage girls facing tough times.

Treasures Thrift, M-21 on west side of Lowell: For 15 years, Flat River Outreach Ministries has provided a food pantry along with other services for Lowell residents and extending into Kent County, on some levels. The shop, once a former assisted living facility, not only has a giant showroom with clothing and boutique items, but it has many rooms that are designated by category, ranging from Do-it-Yourself to Home Furnishings.
