MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich.- A 52-year-old man has been arraigned on a felonious assault charge in Mecosta County after firing a gun at two people.

According to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department, on August 7th,  52-year-old Roger Lynn of Hersey was arrested at a relatives house after two males were shot at when they were in Lynn’s residence. Deputies state that Lynn pointed a handgun at them and fired a shot at them barely missing them. Deputies on scene did find evidence of a gunshot but Lynn had fled the residence.

After deputies obtained a search warrant for Lynn’s residence they discovered multiple weapons and other evidence.

On Friday, Lynn was in Mecosta County District Court and was officially charged with felonious assault with great bodily harm less than murder. Lynn is currently being held at the Mecosta County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
