Man with Alzheimer’s missing from Kalamazoo; may be in danger

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Leslie Edward Dodson, 77, has been reported missing after police say he left his house in the Winchell neighborhood in Kalamazoo.

Dodson has Alzheimer’s Disease, and police say he walked away from his home around 9:30 p.m. on August 12. Police say he has walked away from his house in the past, but had been located quickly.

Dodson is 6’1″, 200 pounds, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise jacket, a yellow “Michiganna” t-shirt, dark blue shorts, and white shoes.

Police believe Dodson cannot find his way home and may be in danger. If you found him or have seen him, call the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at (269) 337-8994.
