Man shows up to the hospital with a stab wound

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- A man showed up to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo with a stab wound early Sunday morning.

According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, the 53-year-old Kalamazoo man arrived at Borgess Hospital around 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning with a stab wound to his upper torso. The hospital took the man into surgery, before officers could arrive at the hospital.

A witness told KDPS officers that she had transported the victim from the 1000 block of N. Park.

Kalamazoo Public Safety officers do not believe this stabbing is related to the earlier stabbing that happened in the 800 block of N. Park.

The 53-year-old Kalamazoo man is out of surgery and is listed in stable condition at Borgess Hospital.
