GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Public Museum announced today that due to the popularity of the Dream it, Build it LEGO® certified professional exhibition, it will be extended through Sunday, September 28. The exhibition was supposed to close it’s doors August 31, 2014.
Dream it, Build it features architectural masterpieces recreated with LEGO® bricks by LEGO® Certified Professional Adam Reed Tucker.
Kate Moore, Vice President of Marketing and PR for the GRPM. said, “The overwhelming response and popularity of the exhibit prompted us to extend the exhibition another month, we’re hopeful that this will allow people who have not had a chance to visit to do so.”
If you haven’t made it out to the exhibition take the time to go visit the Grand Rapids Public Museum and see what it’s all about. They even hosted the the Meijer Dream it, Build it Building Contest this summer and the winner has been unveiled.
Contestants registered their own lego brick creations and one winner took home prizes provided by Meijer. The winner of Best in Show by public vote is Alan Chupp and his design can be seen at the museum also.
