30 adoptable puppies coming to West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Humane Society of West Michigan is welcoming more that 30 puppies tomorrow. They’re coming from the Puppy Pipeline, a unique rescue program based in Georgia that transports unwanted and abandoned dogs from the South to Northern states for a new chance at life.  The puppies heading to West Michigan will range in age from 8 week to 10 months.  There will be a variety of breeds including Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Huskies, Bulldogs, Shepherd mixes and more.  The puppies will be available for adoption as soon as they’re up-to-date on vaccines.  If you’re interested in adopting visit The Humane Society of West Michigan at noon on Friday to meet the puppies and fill out an adoption application.

    Last year the Kent County Animal Shelter and Humane Society of West Michigan took in a total of 4,410 dogs and 5,838 cats.
