LAWTON, Mich. - Tips are coming into Michigan State Police following a FOX 17 report which revealed video from the burglary of a Van Buren County vegetable stand.

A trail camera sits in the upper corner of 'A-squared', a vegetable stand stocked with tomatoes, cucumbers, corn and flowers by a farmer in Lawton.

On Wednesday the owner of the stand posted a series of videos to Facebook that captures the theft on camera.

The video shows a man wearing sunglasses walk into the shed with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

In his hands are what appears to be wire cutters as he attempts to cut his way into a lock box where people pay cash for their crops.

When he realizes that he can't cut it with the smaller set of wire cutters he packs himself a bag of corn and leaves in a black pick-up.

An hour later that same truck comes back and the same man gets out, this time adding a winter hat to his disguise.

The thief brings a large pair of bolt cutters with him for this attempt.  Again, he goes after the cash drawer cracking it open, grabbing a handful of cash and leaves in the truck.

Michigan State Police said this same farmer has been victimized by crooks three times.  This is the first time however that they were able to get a clear view of the person involved.
