GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — They’ve been a staple at the Mitten Brewing Company for over a year, and now the Furniture City Creamery is expanding

This summer, Furniture City Creamery opened its doors in the East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids and are already getting along well with their neighbors. The micro-creamery frequently uses products from neighbors Brewery Vivant and Van Doughnuts to create unique flavors.

Owners Rachel and Matt Franko perfected vegan, dairy-free, and other unique ice creams, which quickly became a hit with Mitten regulars, so much so that within a year the Frankos found the need for more space to keep up with the demand.

The craft creamery aims to use quality local ingredients to produce delicious selections including the city’s largest variety of vegan, and dairy-free options.
