GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– It’s official, ArtPrize 2014 has begun.

ArtPrize consists of all different forms of art, and some of that art depends on our participation.  We caught up with UICA exhibitions curator AJ Pashka to learn all about one of those entries.

“Hey Youtube, It’s Me” is a piece submitted by Aaron Nemec.  The idea behind the piece is that people can submit videos of themselves singing any song they want, and then ArtPrizers can head over to the UICA and sing karaoke with projections of these people singing.

Anyone can submit a video via YouTube with the label “artprizekaraoke,” and Nemec will add lyrics to the video for people to karaoke with at the UICA.
