CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich.– A family in Calhoun County is still looking for answers after a search for their loved one provided them with no clues as to where he might be.

Scott Isham, 53, from Albion, has been missing since September 25.

On Sunday, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department and Michigan State Police community emergency response team spent several hours searching the areas surrounding the home he was last seen at.

While Isham's family said they believe Isham left his home in Albion willingly, they told FOX 17 it's not like him to cut off communication.

"It's very draining emotionally, because you don't know why he left," said Gary Isham, Scott's brother. "We don't know exactly where he went directioe-wise, if he's okay, if he's gone out of the area. So, there's a lot of unanswered questions. The search isn't done as far as we're concerned. This will go on one way or another, and hopefully he'll surface."

Gary Isham said he's thankful for how much work the search teams have put into finding his brother.
