Car rolled over on train tracks, train not involved

HOLLAND, Mich.– Ottawa County Deputies are on scene of a roll-over accident that happened early Monday morning.

According to Ottawa County Dispatchers, a car rolled over on the train tracks near James and 132nd Ave. just after 5 AM. Initially deputies thought the car was on fire, but once they got to the scene they discovered it wasn’t. The driver was outside of the vehicle when deputies arrived. No word on what caused the crash.

Dispatchers say that the train was not involved in this accident. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. Be aware of traffic slow downs in the area, as James is closed both East bound and West bound at 132nd; the train signals were activated on the train tracks due to the crash.
