Two stabbed, police interviewing person of interest

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Officers from the Muskegon Police Department were called to the report of stabbing on the 200 block of Dratz Street. Two victims were immediately provided aid.

A 41-year-old and a 36-year-old male suffered stab wounds to the upper torso and back areas. The 41-year-old victim has been treated and released, while the 36-year-old is undergoing emergency surgery.

Officials are interviewing a 17-year-old person of interest. The reason for the assault is still unknown.

Muskegon Police detectives are conducting an ongoing investigation.
