GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you’re interested in adopting a child through the Michigan Foster System, there’s an event coming up you’ll want to attend.

D.A. Blodgett is hosting “Images of Adoption,” a way for potential adoptive parents to get review children searching for forever homes.

There will be pictures and videos of the children, and representatives from all the local adoption agencies will answer all your adoption questions.

And there will be a local foster and adoptive family to talk about the process.

“They’ll get an idea of the children who are available for adoption,” adoption specialist Ledale Hayes said. “They will be able to see specific children, get more information about them. They can sign up and get assigned a worker. Information will go out to them.”

The event takes place Thursday, November 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at D.A. Blodgett–St. Johns at 805 Leonard Street NE in Grand Rapids.

RSVP is not needed.
