NEW ZEALAND — AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has been charged after allegedly attempting to have two men killed in New Zealand.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the 60-year-old was arrested following a reported raid on his home.  He’s also facing drug possession charges.

The Tribune reports that Rudd appeared in Tauranga District Court Thursday and is scheduled back in three weeks.

AC/DC, whose famous songs include “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” are scheduled to release a new album in December.

According to the Tribune, Rudd joined the band in 1975, was kicked out in 1983 and rejoined in 1994.
