NOTTAWA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 10-year-old boy has died after the ATV he was riding flipped over Wednesday.
According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, Dakota Jay Yoder flipped the 4-wheeler on top of himself in a field near the 26000 block of Marvin Road at about 3:22 p.m. Wednesday.
He was rushed to Bronson Hospital and died Thursday.
Investigators say speed is believed to be a factor in the accident, but it remains under investigation.
