Stone recognized it was a fire and immediately called 911. Fire fighters from both Dorr and Salem Township arrived to the fire, flames and smoke ripping through the roof. Chief Larry Hildenbrand of the Salem Township Fire Department said two victims were found incapacitated inside the home.

The victims were turned over to EMS and transported to a local hospital where they both died.

Chief Hildenbrand said the cause of the fire is still unknown. He anticipates a full investigation to start Monday.
