HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two wanted fugitives were picked up late Saturday after Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department spotted them driving on Red Arrow Highway near 59 1/2 St.
Travis Farris, 25 years-old, and Thomas Farris, 28 years-old, both from Hartford, Michigan, were pulled over after the watchful deputies recognized Travis as an unlicensed driver, as well as a wanted fugitive.
The two were taken into custody without incident on a variety of charges:
Travis Farris:
- Driving with a Suspended License
- Misdemeanor Warrant for Failing to Appear
Thomas Farris:
- Felony Warrant for a Sex Offender Violation
- Misdemeanor Warrant for Contempt of Court
- Misdemeanor Warrant for Failing to Appear
- Warrant for FOC Failing to Appear
The incident is being handled by The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
