IRVING TOWNSHIP, Mich. — When fire crews arrived at 2220 W. Sisson Road in northern Barry County, they reported the house as “fully involved.” Luckily, the woman who lives there was already out due to a passerby.
The woman was alerted to a fire in her home by someone passing by, and she was able to get out safely, but her dog didn’t make it.
The fire, first reported before 6 a.m. was brought under control, but the house appears to be a total loss.
