VAN BUREN COUNTY & KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — The top of a utility pole snapped off early Saturday causing power outages for hundreds of Consumer’s Energy customers.
Their is currently an outage near Lawrence, this caused by the damaged utility pole, affecting 138 customers. Workers are currently on site making the necessary repairs- estimating power to be back for customers “early to mid afternoon Saturday”.
Another outage near Alamo is affecting 338 customers. Workers were being dispatched early Saturday to asses the situation and make repairs.
Consumer’s Energy says they are working diligently to return services.
