COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. -- The family of a missing Comstock Park woman is reaching out to FOX 17 and viewers for help, four days after Teresa Curry disappeared from her home.

Wednesday is Curry's birthday -- and all her family wants is for her to be back home and safe. They're terrified of what could have happened -- and have no clues about where she could be.

“It’s not like her to ever...she’s never ever done this before,” her mother Patricia says.
Police say Teresa -- known as Traci -- was last seen Friday at the Speedway gas station on West River Drive in Comstock Park.

“I’m just amazed that she would just walk away from the house...leave everything,” Patricia says. “She walked out, left her fan running in her bedroom, shut her door, and walked out like she was coming to the store and back.”

Traci lives with her mom, who says the 44-year-old has several medical issues.

“She cannot hear out of her left ear at all," Patricia says. "She has a hearing aid in both ears. Can’t hear out of her right ear."

Patricia says Traci doesn't drive, just quit her job at Kohl’s, and cleared all the files off her computer.

“She’s a very very paranoid person,” Patricia says. “I’m scared. I don’t want to think that way, but I’m scared.”

Traci was last seen wearing a pink coat, jeans or khaki pants, a black knit hat, and blue tennis shoes.

She has a buzz cut and hearing aids in both ears.

If you see her or know anything about her disappearance, call the Kent County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
