MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich.- Family members of missing 32-year-old Bobbie Maples say Roosevelt Park Police will be conducting polygraph tests in connection with her disappearance.

Maples was initially believed to have gone missing Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, but Bobbie’s mother Muriel Maples says there is a new witness who stated she saw Bobbie leaving the hospital after visiting her daughter on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Her mother says police told her a woman saw Bobbie getting into a brown minivan in front of Hackley Hospital in Muskegon with a man who had a long white beard around 3 p.m. that afternoon.

Muriel says though Roosevelt Park Police say there is no evidence that points to foul play or a criminal act, Maples disappeared without any personal belongings. She says abandoning her newborn baby girl in the hospital is something she knows her daughter was not capable of doing.

“I think somebody did something to her, there’s no way first of all she’d leave Airyonna” Muriel said when FOX 17 spoke to her last month. “If she was going to leave Airyonna, she would have called somebody like me to come get her, there’s no way she would just walk out and leave her.”

Bobbie’s sister now has temporary custody of her now 3-month-old daughter.

“I call her phone every day, ya know I send her pictures of the baby on her phone even though the phone’s not working,” Muriel said. “I think somebody might have killed her, myself.”

If you have any information on the disappearance of Bobbie Maples or know where she is you’re asked to call Roosevelt Park Police at 231-755-3721 or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
