State senate approves pro-life license plate

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Michigan State Senate passed legislation approving the sale of  “Choose Life” license plates in Michigan as a fundraiser for Choose Life Michigan. Senators voted 26-11 on  Wednesday to approve the bill, which would collect a $25 donation for buyers of the license plate.

The $25 would go to the Choose Life Fund, backed by Right to Life Michigan.

    I’m as prolife as they come but this reporter comes off as very unprofessional. You are doing our cause a disservice.

      She was very unprofessional. I was at an activist training and she barged in and when no one from our group wanted to participate in her unprofessional interview she made comments such as non those women are brave intelligent to give comments and then swore at our group facilitator. Very unprofessional and ridiculous. She came to our meeting and acted in the most inappropriate manner possible. I emailed news organization but have of course heard nothing back. I am appalled at her journalism abilities and tactics.

    Regardless of the political cause being advertised on these license plates, I think it’s against the constitution for a governmental entity to collect money and funnel it to a nongovernmental political action group…
