GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - An event that started as a small group of Grand Rapids residents cleaning up their neighborhood back in 2009, is expecting hundreds of people this year. Saturday, May 2 marks the 7th Annual Westside Community Cleanup event.
In previous years, thousands of pounds of garbage was cleaned up and this year organizers are expecting even more with the expansion.
