BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are searching for two men who they say broke into a home, assaulted a man inside, and ran off with some cash.
It happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. at a home on East GoGuac Street in Battle Creek. Police say the two men were able to get away after the assault and robbery, despite an attempted K-9 track.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
