VAN BUREN COUNTY – Two Bangor residents will likely face multiple charges, including maintaining a drug house, following a significant methamphetamine bust on Monday.

Investigators with the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, paired with a Michigan State Police patrol unit, located a large amount of drug paraphernalia during a home raid in the 29000 block of 61st Street in Bangor Township Monday afternoon.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the home after receiving information there was methamphetamine being manufactured at the home.

Inside, 27 one-pot meth labs were found, along with 32 HCL gas generators and other materials used to manufacture meth including a digital scale.

A 28-year-old male and 19-year-old female, both from Bangor, were not present at the time of the search.

Deputies say the pair will likely face charges including operating a meth lab, possession of meth and maintaining a drug house once the case is reviewed by the Prosecutor’s Office.
