WHITE CLOUD, Mich. — Matthew Bradley, arrested Tuesday night after his girlfriend’s 4-month-old daughter was found dead, is being charged with concealing the death of an individual, a felony that could result in up to five years in prison. Bradley was arrested in an unrelated concealed weapons charge, for which he is  being arraigned Thursday as well.

Natallya Rich, daughter of Bradley’s girlfriend Britanny, was found dead in the basement of her family’s home late Tuesday. Britanny was found with Bradley when he was arrested.

An autopsy was expected to be completed sometime Thursday, which could clarify the cause of the baby’s death.

Bradley told police that he was using meth, norco, and morphine before and after baby Natallya’s disappearance. Police said they found residue of controlled substances and other paraphernalia in Bradley’s bedroom and elsewhere in the home.

Given the admitted drug use, the a judge ruled Bradley violated his bond conditions and increased the bond to $100,000.
