WALKER, Mich. — The death of Kristin Sidlauskas of Grand Rapids has been ruled a suicide. Her body was first found in Walker on May 16, and police were investigating the death as a homicide.

But Walker Police released a statement Friday morning that said “information, interviews, and evidence collected” led to the conclusion the 39-year-old mother’s death was from suicide.

Sidlauskas led a complicated life where she asked for and received a personal protection order against the father of her fourth child. Her other three children live with their father.
