INKSTER, Mich. — Jeralean Talley, the oldest person in the world, died Wednesday night at the age of 116, her family tells FOX 2 in Detroit.
Talley was certified as the oldest person in the world in April, according to FOX 2. She turned 116 on May 23.
Her family told FOX 2 that she died in her sleep at her Inkster home.
