Detectives investigate home invasions in Berrien Co.

SODUS TWP., Mich. – The Berrien County Sheriff is warning people to lock their doors and windows after three residences were broken into while the owners were at home.

All three home invasions happened in the vicinity of Pipestone Road/River Road and Nickerson Avenue.  The last incident happened on Sunday, June 28 and the first happened on May 24.

In each case, the suspect fled when confronted by the homeowner.  He has not been able to steal anything.  He is described as being between 5’10” and 6’0″ tall with a slender build.  He has entered the homes through unlocked doors and all three incidents happened late at night or early in the morning.
