Battle Creek man shot in leg after argument, 2 arrested

BEDFORD TWP., Mich. – Battle Creek Police arrested two people after a shooting overnight.

Police were called to the 200 block of Algonquin Street and found a 36-year-old man with a single gunshot wound in his leg.  He was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital for treatment and his wound is non-life threatening.

Police say the shooting appears to have happened after an argument and took place in the front yard of the residence.  Anyone with more information is asked to contact Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch at 269-781-0911.
