HOLTON TWP., Mich. – A 15-year-old Fremont Public Schools student died Sunday after crashing his dirt bike on a trail.
The crash happened between 3:30pm and 4:15pm Sunday on a trail in the area of Whitmire and Syers.
Cameron Beattie hit a tree while riding and was pronounced dead at the scene. His father started a search for Cameron when he didn’t return home. Other riders discovered his body at about 4:15pm.
Cameron was a sophomore in the Fremont Public Schools.
