BIRCH RUN, Mich.– Coming off of the GOP debate, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump expects to draw thousands to his first campaign stop in Michigan Tuesday, August 11.

Trump will be the keynote address speaker at a Lincoln Day event serving as a fundraiser for the Republican parties in Saginaw and Genesee counties.

Many state representatives and senators plan to be in attendance.

The event takes place at the Birch Run Expo Center, 1160 North Beyer Road in the village of Birch Run, starting at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 4 p.m.

Michigan Democrats have organized a rally outside the stop through a Facebook page titled “Rally Against Donald Trump”.
