KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man is being sought on felony charges after he was caught on video damaging a Kalamazoo Public Safety Department cruiser and took selfies. He is seen on the video leaving the scene on a skateboard.

KPSD says one of their officers parked the cruiser on Kalamazoo Mall around 3:40 a.m. on August 9. While the officer was gone, the cruiser’s dash camera was recording, and a young man is seen taking selfies in front of the cruiser and then climbing on the car, lying on the windshield, and climbing on the roof. All this activity damaged the cruiser.

The suspect is seen leaving the area on a skateboard before the officer returned to the car and saw the damage.

KPSD is seeking help identifying the suspect, who will face felony charges for damaging the vehicle.
