CHICAGO (WGN) — A waitress who works at a popular Chicago restaurant known for being rude to its customers has gone viral.
Facebook user LaNetta Limb Maxfield, who was visiting Chicago from Iowa, recorded a video of her Ed Debevic’s waitress “Cherry” sassing her and her group as they ordered.
Cherry was quick to admit that if she provided nice service, she would probably get fired.
“You know what, grandpa? If I was nice to you I’d get canned,” she says. “If you want good service, you go somewhere else. I know Hooters is probably more your speed but you came here on purpose.”
She also berated an adult for ordering off the children’s menu.
“You wanna cheap out? That’s cool,” Cherry said.
The video has been viewed more than 2 million times since it was posted on Facebook Aug. 10.
