Kalamazoo murder suspect to be extradited after Las Vegas arrest
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The suspect in a Kalamazoo murder will be extradited back to West Michigan after being arrested in Las Vegas.
George Mack, 26, is expected to be transported from Nevada to Michigan next week, according to Kalamazoo Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley.
Mack is the suspect in the murder of Edward Bell, who was fatally shot Aug. 9 in the 1300 block of Rose Street. Mack was arrested in Vegas on Monday as he walked out of a drug store.
It is believed Bell was protecting his sister at the time of his death. She was in an abusive relationship with Mack in the past.
