SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. - From small two-man boats to large charters, boaters came from all over to pick up veterans and take them fishing in Lake Michigan.
Saturday was the 4th Annual Salute the Veterans event organized by the South Haven Steelheaders and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Over 20 fisherman spent their Saturday fishing with 60 veterans. After spending the morning out on the water, each boat came through the canal as residents of South Haven lined up to honor the heroes.
