GRAND RAPIDS, Mich —  Forest Hills Northern (1-0) has beaten Byron Center (1-0) four years in a row.  Thursday night, in Week Two of the high school football season, the Huskies look to make it five straight in the Blitz Game of the Week while the Bulldogs will try to start a streak of their own.

Last season, Portage Central (1-0) and Battle Creek Lakeview (1-0) had their Week Two meeting postponed due to severe weather and the game was never finished.  One year later they meet at Spartan Memorial Stadium in Battle Creek in our Blitz Battle.

Plainwell (1-0) hosts Paw Paw (1-0) in a huge early season Wolverine Conference game.  The Trojans and Redskins did not meet last season and the 2013 game was decided by a late field goal.

Other games on our slate on Thursday include:

  • Ravenna (1-0) at Montague (1-0)
  • Whitehall (1-0) at North Muskegon (1-0)
