HOLLAND, Mich. - Holland Department of Public Safety officers are looking for help finding the suspect from a morning bank robbery.
Police say that the Macatawa Bank at 699 E. 16th Street was robbed at about 9:15am Monday. Officers responded within three minutes and surrounded the area, but were not able to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a thin, black male, about six feet tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and sunglasses. He was last seen riding a bicycle northbound on Waverly Road.
Police say that the suspect passed a note to the teller, implying he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen. No one was hurt.
