BIG RAPIDS TWP., Mich. – A 20-year-old man from Trufant was seriously injured Monday night when his car crossed the center line and hit a pick-up truck heading the opposite direction.
The crash happened just before 8:00pm on Perry Street, west of 215th Avenue in Big Rapids Township.
The Trufant man was heading east when his vehicle drifted across the center line and hit a westbound pick-up truck driven by a 58-year-old Big Rapids man. The pick-up truck driver was not hurt. The Trufant man was flown to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
