Man stabbed twice in SE Grand Rapids, uncooperative with police

GRAND RAPIDS. Mich. — Grand Rapids Police say that a man was stabbed twice on the city’s southeast side Sunday morning and is not cooperating with the investigation.

Around 7:50 a.m. Sunday morning, a 37-year-old man was stabbed twice in the chest and abdomen. He was taken to the hospital for his non-life threatening injuries.

GRPD says that the victim is not being very forthcoming in the investigation. They were initially called to an area near Union Avenue and Hall Street SE but are trying to figure out exactly where the attack took place.

No description of the assailant has been given, and no arrests have been made yet.
