MIDDLEVILLE, Mich. – The congregation from Thornapple Valley Church in Middleville isn’t letting tragedy stop them.  A fire tore through the church on Tuesday morning, destroying everything inside and leaving the building unusable.

Members of the church came together on Sunday morning to hold an alternative service at Thornapple Kellogg High School.

Hundreds of people attended, listening to the pastor speak about the future.

They plan to continue Sunday service at the high school until the church is rebuilt.  The staff and church members say they’re very thankful for the prayers and help.

If you’d like to help, the church says they’re collecting all types of items since everything was lost in the fire.  You can find more information on how to donate on their website here.
