MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon Fire Department wants to keep you and your family safe in the home by making sure you have working smoke detectors this season.
Coinciding with Fire Prevention Week, the firefighters are doing a smoke detector blitz, trying to hit as many homes as they can. Apply for your free smoke detector here.
They will be in the following neighborhoods on the date listed:
- October 10, 2015 – McLaughlin, Nims, and Sheldon Park neighborhoods
- October 17, 2015 – Angell, Campbell, and Oakview neighborhoods
