Western Michigan wins shootout with rival Central Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich -- Western Michigan defeated Central Michigan in the highest scoring game in series history, 41-39, Saturday afternoon at Waldo Stadium.

Zach Terrell threw for 262 yards and four touchdowns and Daniel Braverman caught six passes for 137 yard and 3 scores to lead the Broncos.

Chippewas quarterback Cooper Rush completed 23 of 32 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns to lead CMU who twice cut the Western lead to two points in the second half.
