GOLDEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An Ohio woman is dead after a rollover accident in the dunes Silver Lake State Park Saturday.
Leslyn Marie Yowell, 49, from Grove City, Ohio was riding with her husband at the dunes Saturday afternoon around 1 when their Jeep Wrangler rolled over, according to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Department. When deputies arrived, they found Yowell trapped under the Jeep,
Yowell died shortly after she was pulled from the vehicle. She was the backseat passenger in the Jeep driven by her husband and was wearing her seat belt at the time, according to investigators.
Drug and alcohol are not suspected right now. The accident remains under investigation.
