Near Chicago Drive & Godfrey Avenue
WYOMING, Mich – Investigators have closed off an area near Chicago Drive and Godfrey Avenue in Wyoming following a crash Wednesday evening involving a moped and SUV.
Authorities at the scene say the crash happened just before 7:30 p.m.
The moped rider was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the SUV wasn’t reportedly hurt.
Investigators expect a portion of the intersection to remain closed for the time being to help determine what led up to the crash. They’re asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate.
Names of the individuals involved haven’t been released.
