GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- A semi-truck driver failed to negotiate a curve during the rain Wednesday morning and crashed right off of I-196.
Westbound I-196 was backed up through downtown due to the crash, just west of Lane Avenue.
The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. Police are had to deal with minor crashes on the eastbound side of I-196 as well. As of 12:30pm, all lanes had reopened.
