GRAND RAPIDS, Mich - A couple wanted by law enforcement out of the Albion area is now being featured on a smartphone application ran by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

"Smart law enforcement means making the best use of 21st century technology," agent Jeremy Pierczynski said.

Normann Pittelkow, 42, and Nicole Jacob, 35, are both facing charged of producing and conspiring to produce child pornography.  Charges were authorized following a September 27 search of the pair's Albion home where several computers and mobile devices were seized.

According to state court records, the couple is accused of producing images and video of material involving the sexual abuse of minors.

Pierczynski said, "We also know they have previous ties to Georgia."

Calhoun County prosecutor Dave Gilbert and Albion police chief Scott Kipp said the app and collaboration with the feds will make a major difference in bringing the couple to justice.

Kipp said, "Those resources that they can provide for us, especially when it comes to going through computers and other electronic equipment, is invaluable for us. It's very difficult for a small department to have those resources available to them."

Pittelkow is 6'0", 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.  Investigators say he wears corrective eye glasses and usually wears a graying beard, but may be clean shaven to avoid detection.

Jacob is 5'1", 120 pounds with black hair and blue eyes.

Both are now profiled on the ICE 'Operation Predator' smartphone application as well as online.
